A1. Determination of us (inclined plane) 1. Open the Inclined Plane Static Friction Simulation (https:/www.geogebra.org/m/zxwsxxz6) 2. Choose your bottom material (wood). 3. Click the 'Start Simulation' button. 4. Gradually raise the angle until the block begins to slide. Record this angle, Os, in Table 1. (If you do not adjust the angle for a few seconds you will have to reset and restart the simulation.) 5. Hit the bottom button (says "mb = 120. g" by default) to add or remove 120. g to the block, (total mass = mb + mw). Reset the simulation and repeat steps 3 & 4. 6. Change the bottom material to felt and repeat steps 3 - 5. Record you results in Table 2. Take a screenshot of the simulation showing the angle Os, for any trial for felt. The web address, Date, and time of the device that you used should be visible in the screenshot. Inset here. Add more space if needed. Screenshot(1) 7. Use your recorded values to calculate your coefficients of static friction, us using equation 4. Calculate the percent difference between the weighted (mb + mw) and unweighted (mb)cases. TABLE 1. Wood on Aluminum mb = 120. g m11, =120. g mb mb + mw %% diff =\f
