Aaron sent an email accepting the proposal at 5pm and the email reached Serena at 5.01pm on the same day. Meanwhile at 5.30pm on 2^ndof August, Serena sent an email to Aaron withdrawing her proposal. However, Aaron only read the email on 3^rdof August.

On 6^thof August 2021, Hugo wrote to Aaron offering to buy the other laptop for RM3,000. The letter expressly stated if Aaron did not reply by 10^thof August, he would be deemed to have accepted the offer. Aaron received Hugo's letter on 9^thof August, but he did not reply.
