AB Ltd., contract with WX Traders to make and deliver certain machinery to them by 30th June 2017 for Rs. 1.5 M. Due to Labor strike, AB Ltd, could not manufacture and deliver the machinery to WX Traders. Later, WX Traders procured the machinery from another manufacturer for Rs. 1.7 M. Due to this WX Traders was also prevented from performing a contract which it had made with YZ Traders at the time of their contract with AB Ltd, and were compelled to pay compensation for breach of contract. Now, Advice WX Traders the amount of compensation which it can claim from AB Ltd., referring to the legal provisions of the Pakistan Contract Act.
