Abbott Labs (NYSE: ABT) has recently gotten FDA approval for their home version of their "FreeStyle Libre" Glucose Monitoring System. After researching the system, answer the following questions:

1. Who are the likely stakeholders for this device and associated support system? Do you think that existing GCM (Glucose Monitoring) patients were involved in requirements definition? How about physicians and other non-physician health care providers? Insurance companies? Others? 2. Assuming you were the lead systems analyst for this project, how would you have determined the requirements for the device? Be specific and list several questions you would have asked.

3. What are the primary functional requirements for the device and associated system?

4. What are some of the non-functional requirements?

5. All systems are imperfect, in that there are features and functions that may not be technologically or economically feasible, or whose inclusion would prevent a reasonable time to market. Can you think of potential improvements to the device and/or associated systems? (Note, this does not need to be an exhaustive list - I am just looking for one or two suggestions for improvement.)
