Abdul has purchased The Scratching Post, an estate comprised of a mansion and surrounding gardens, from Brody. Both Abdul and Brody are keen fans of cats - a subject over which they bonded when Abdul viewed the property. When Abdul viewed the property he noticed several items which appear to have been removed by Brody before Abdul moved in. Abdul is upset at the removal of these items and seeks your advice. The items are as follows:
i) A large tapestry called 'Silly Celebrations' used to line the wall in the reception area. The tapestry depicted cats playing with a ball of yarn, against the backdrop of the Rose Gardens present in The Scratching Post grounds. Abdul notices extensive damage to the wall where the tapestry has been removed.
ii) A bathtub is missing. The bathtub had been shaped like a pouncing panther and was made from bronze. Abdul had been looking forward to floating in the feline and there is now no bathtub in the estate.
iii) Brody has also removed some kitchen units which came with bespoke simulated cat-scratches on the doors. These have been replaced with generic kitchen units which, whilst fit for purpose, do not have the flourish for which Abdul had hoped.
iv) A bench rested on its own weight in the garden. It was shaped like a sleeping cat and Abdul had looked forward to inviting his friends to sit on it.
Advise Abdul.
