About this activity:Continuing the fictional example provided in Process Evaluation in Module 6, you have decided to offer 12 three-hour workshops that couples will participate in, and each workshop will focus on a different topic (e.g., healthy communication, stress management, etc.). You will deliver services in the evening (6-9 pm) once a week for 12 weeks. You plan to hire certified family life educators to facilitate the sessions.Using the information you have about the hypothetical case study program:(1) Write one concise, specific, reasonable, and answerable OUTCOME objective for the above program. Remember, outcome objectives are about the benefits the participants will experience due to being in the program. (2) After writing the outcome objective, identify eachof the 4 components of strong objectives in your outcome objective (for a review, see Module 4).

  • What kind of assessment tool could you use to measure the change in participant outcomes? Review the examples in this module, if you are unable to find an assessment tool that measures your outcome, describe an assessment tool that would be able to assess the outcome of interest from your outcome objective. Be Specific!
  • When would these assessment tools be administered? To whom will they be administered? Who in the program will administer the assessment tool?
