ACA Restaurant Caf' have an obligation to attempt to resolve safety and health issues that may arise. Wherever possible, when an issue ascends, the restaurant caf' must attempt to resolve it with the safety and health representative or staff members employees, bestowing to the issue resolution procedure.

As a continuation of improving the WHS procedures within the restaurant caf', the Owners have instructed the Manager, Joe Roux to organise a safety meeting for all the staff members of the business. Through this meeting, they aim to discuss the WHS issues identified and how preventative measures against unsafe acts can be taken. In addition, through this meeting, they also want to take the prospect to conduct a training session to guide the staff to improve their work commitments toward WHS policies and procedures and on how they can do their job safely. They believe that through this session it can facilitate meaningful and constructive communication between the staff and management about how hazards and risks can best be managed and brainstorm ideas. Allowing staff members to discuss and contribute to decisions of certain issues, can increase their morale and motivation in the restaurant caf'.

A staff safety training meeting has been scheduled within 10 days from the current date and action plan has been decided for Tony Baldwin, the second Manager to create an electronic presentation that will contain useful information regarding WHS issues recognised, improvements applied and guidance for compliance to WHS procedures within the restaurant caf'. Specifications have been given by the Owners that reflect the organisational policies and business's image on how the presentation to be created. Joe Roux, the Manager has been assigned to supervise Tony Baldwin to design and create the presentation using suitable presentation software. You will take the role of Tony Baldwin and follow the specification is given and certain requirements of design template and, create an electronic presentation for the Staff Safety (WHS) Meeting and Training session.

You will also be required to develop a questionnaire document that will allow staff members attending the meeting to provide feedback about the information delivered and the way it was presented.

As an initial attempt, you have decided to identify an appropriate platform and /or software to create the presentation, identify the features it can offer, recognise the need of the business, analyse the purpose of the presentation and for whom, what contents to include to grab the attention of the audience, incorporating accurate data and plan how the presentation will be used with a timing strategy.
