According to early HUMINT reports, the Russians are beginning to mass troops and equipment on the Georgian border in preparation for a ground assault. President Obama is requesting intelligence on the types and quantities of equipment as well as its movements for the next several days. Intelligence reports suggest that the Russians have a strong anti-aircraft defense system in place. It is quite possible that hostilities could occur, and the United States Space Command reports the Russians could be readying their anti-satellite weaponry.
