According to Nelson and Quick (2019) the scope of an organization is critically defined and determined by the existing culture. There are three major levels of organization cultures identified by Edgar Schain including artifacts, espoused values, and the basic underlying assumptions. Artifacts level encompasses the visible and tangible elements that defined the behavior and other aspects of an organization culture (Mikusova et al., 2023). The artifacts can be evaluated through direct observation or interviews or employee focus groups. On the other hand, espoused values entail norms and believes that define an organization culture and can be evaluated by gaps analysis and interviewing leaders and employee (Mikusova et al., 2023). Finally, basic underlying assumption includes unconscious believe and assumption that critically define an organization culture and it can be evaluated through ethnographic survey and critical incidence analysis
