Assignment:

Your semester project deliverable will be a single report, composed of each team members' individual contribution. The Owner's perspective will introduce the project, including project background, plus discuss the Owner's evaluation of the project. The remaining perspectives will provide appendices to the Owner's report describing their evaluation.

Each perspective must include the following key sections in their writeup:

Introduction: this will include at a minimum a description of your opportunity (e.g. developing / funding the project), the strategy / goals for your perspective and where the project is aligned or misaligned.

Project background (Owner's perspective only): this will include a brief overview of the project with a focus on the topics that were the most important to your group discussions

Evaluation process and outcome: this will highlight the process you utilized in your review and the key points of your evaluation, including project risk and opportunities (be sure to put this in the context of your perspective's strategy / goals) and major areas of uncertainty going forward

Proposed financing structure and economics: this section will be derived from your economic model and will summarize your proposed financing structure (even if you choose to recommend not financing the project you will need to define a proposed structure) and the associated economic return to your perspective. Your finance structure should be appropriate for your perspective and incorporate risk mitigation, where possible

Summary and recommendations: Briefly reiterate the opportunity and key outcomes of your evaluation work. This should focus on key risk / opportunity and how it relates to value in the context of the strategic goals of your perspective. Now present your recommendations specific to the opportunity at hand and provide justification for your recommendation.

Bibliography: each individual contribution will include it's own bibliography that will be referenced in the text, where appropriate.

Each individual contribution to the final paper will not exceed 5 pages of text (inclusion of, figures, tables, etc. can result in a total expansion beyond this limit, but written text not to exceed 5 pages). Appendices are also okay for supporting data beyond the 5- page limit. Please use standard text size, margins, spacing, etc. Be succinct and focus on strategy, analysis and recommendations as this is what will influence your grade.
