According to the BACB, the supervisee and the supervisor must develop and sign a written contract prior to the onset of experience. The function of the contract is to protect you and your supervisor by creating an occasion for you to discuss your roles, responsibilities, and expectations clearly. You may be given a contract by your internship site or asked to develop a new one by editing a preexisting template.
