According to the US Environmental Protection Agency, acid rain occurs when sulfur dioxide and nitrous oxides mix with water, oxygen and other chemicals to form acids that precipitate out as rainfall with relatively low pH, in the range of 4.2 to 4.4, whereas "normal" rain has a pH somewhere between 5.0 and 5.5.

Data on the pH of 50 rainfall events are given in the photo attached and pasted at the end of this question. Use this data with Minitab or other statistical software to test the hypotheses: H0: = 5.0 vs. H1: < 5.0 using an = 0.02 significance level. Make sure that you report the critical value -t (you will need to use Minitab to find this) and specify the rejection region of the test, in addition to giving the test statistic and the P-value of the test.
