Accounting of the future. Once in a while I hear that the process of recording transactions with debits and credits is redundant and not very efficient. I have to admit that sometimes I can see their point. However, the system of using debits and credits has been around since at least the 1400's. GIven that it has been around such a long time, do you think something will ever replace it? Is there some kind of technology that could replace double entry accounting? If so, what?
