Accounting Principles Project

Each student needs to visit a business (size does not matter) and meet a senior accountant

The student needs to ask questions about:

Information about the business

The position of the interviewee

The accounting books /records used in the business (daybooks, subsidiary journals, subsidiary ledger.)

The need each accounting record achieves

How each accounting record complements the others i.e. the accounting books in that businesss accounting cycle

Any other questions the student finds relevan
