Partial Description of the Sales/Collection Process The Catering Division of Georgetown Cupcake's sales process begins when the customer places an order through a sales associate. Orders must be made at least three business days prior to the requested delivery date. The sales associate enters the customer order information in the computer system and prints out three copies of the sales order form from the sales order database. One copy of the sales order is provided to the customer, one is sent to the bakery division for production scheduling, and the last copy is filed numerically in a temporary file in the catering sales division.
