Thus, one way to discover what core values actually motivate us and our ministry team is to start with observed behaviors and work backwards. This forum will give you the opportunity to do just that! Respond to these questions in your original post as though it's a journal entry. Think through the last 30 days. Below are some questions to address: How have you spent your time, energy and money? To what have you given the most attention? List your activities as you see fit. How much time, energy and money was spent on each? What do these activities reveal about your core values? What do they reveal about what is truly important to you? List the top five (5) core values that your activities reveal. Were the personal core values that emerged consistent with what you expected? Or different? Explain. What core values did you expect to see in your behaviors, but were missing, or were surprisingly low?
