To complete this task, create a video, more or less 5 minutes, Of YOU giving guidance about the networking process Instructions to the Learner Use this document to assist you and your volunteer in completing the role play activity for this task. Discuss first the Case Study Scenario in Project Part Ill to your volunteers, and the instructions below before commencing. Your role as Assistant Manager requires you to contact networks and workplace relationships to provide benefits to the Bounce Fitness. Instructions to the Volunteers You are to assume the roles as listed below and conduct a discussion with the Assistant Manager of Bounce Fitness (the Learner): 1. Sam, Australian Fitness Industry Network You are primarily a sales representative who is trying to sell training, videos and individual memberships to the staff. You have a great deal of knowledge about the fitness industry and can engage in conversation over most exercise methods. You are able to discuss and provide guidance in what is a good video or how to meet other fitness instructors and arrange networking events. 2. Gemma, World of Fitness You are a physiotherapist. You are positive, always smiling and engages with all the people at Bounce Fitness. You are able to explain how each piece of equipment will benefit the customer. Whilst you are a salesperson, Bounce staff seem unaware that you are selling equipment. You always provide additional assistance that is not linked to the selling of equipment. 3. Cesar, Fit for Life You have fifteen (15) years of experience in the fitness industry. Currently, you have two (2) jobs - one as a trainer and the other as a personal trainer. English is not your first language, and you have a strong accent. It's difficult to understand you on occasions, but you are passionate about your students and making sure that they have all the skills that they require. You are extroverted and loves to laugh and encourage your students, like physically demonstrating to the students how to use equipment. You always support students and talk to Bounce clients, and also very professional.4. Ingrid Ingleson, Music and Movement Specialist Ingrid works at Bounce Fitness as a contractor. She works with the staff to assist them in adding music and movement into their programs especially for the groups of younger people who are attending. She holds Zumba classes and is working with some of the trainers to assist in developing their knowledge and movement in this area. Ingrid has been working with staff and management for the past two (2) years and is always helpful and positive in her workings with the company. 5. Ranveer Singh, Yoga Master Ranveer is part of Bounce's professional development program. He works with the staff every three (3) months to develop their flexibility and strength. He uses Ashtanga yoga which is physically demanding with contact movement from one pose to the next. Some of the staff have been going to his classes to extend their knowledge skills in this type of yoga and to learn more about stretching and keeping flexible. To commence the role play: . Set up your video camera or video recording device. State your name and the subject for which you are being assessed. Introduce each volunteer's role at the start of the recording
