Adabi Consumer Industries Sdn Bhd’s vision is to become the producer of halal and high-quality food products that have great taste and will bring good health and happiness to mankind on Earth. Align with the vision, today, Adabi has become a prominent household brand in Malaysia as well as in South East Asea region, United Kingdom, Jordan, Mongolia, Japan and Australia. Particularly, Adabi’s mission is to help Malaysians home-chefs by providing quality & added-value food ingredients to simplify their cooking experience and deliver healthy food to their family.
To achieve the quality and added-value food ingredients, products by Adabi Consumer Industries Sdn Bhd have been certified HALAL by JAKIM Malaysia and MUI Indonesia, namely under the Adabi, POWERCAT, Flamitoz & Kerispi brands. For that reason, Adabi Consumer Industries Sdn Bhd is fully committed to produce Halal products by ensuring the Halal Assurance System as being a fundamental part of their operations. This is achieved by:
1. Ensuring raw materials procured and used in the manufacturing process are halal.
2. Ensuring all finished products made are certified halal by JAKIM.
3. Ensuring all finished products marketed in Indonesia are certified halal by MUI.
4. Ensuring production systems are clean and free from non-Halal and filthy ingredients.
5. Production operations, including equipment and machinery, are regularly maintained in hygienic conditions in accordance with good manufacturing practices (GMP)
6. During preparations, processing, handling, packaging, storage and distribution, any food item that does not meet halal requirements is physically segregated. i. Create a hierarchical balanced scorecard that consist of a strategic objective for every perspective, with at least TWO (2) indicators for each perspective. (20 marks)
ii. Develop a strategy map that link each strategic objective. (15 marks)
iii. Provide FIVE (5) logic arguments on the relationships between strategic objectives in the strategy map. You should relate your explanation with the use of indicators to measure performance of the objectives.
