Adam, Ben, and Carl are three friends who are proficient gamers. Due to the outbreak of CoVid-19 all three of them were working from home and seeing an opportunity to make some extra money, Adam suggested that they make their hobby into a profit-making venture. They didn't do much in terms of setting up. They continued to play as they used to do. The only change was that they started livestreaming their gaming sessions on YouTube and Twitch in their channel called "Gaming@Home"

Adam and Carl kept records of the number of sessions and views. They also set up a separate bank account for the income of the videos from viewer donations. Their mutual friend Zayd gave them $1,000 to purchase the Sony PlayStation 5.

They started out small but with most teenagers and young professionals working from home the channel grew. They also started receiving orders and requests from game developers to prepare video commentaries and montages for which they were paid $1,000- $1,500 per video. With the increased activities Carl decided to quit his job and coordinate the preparation of the videos.

Adam and Ben assisted in organising the content and the development of content. They have been working together for nearly one year. Towards the second year they hired an employee to handle their social media pages and help edit the videos.

Due to the increased demands to livestream more games, Carl has been staying up late to edit and upload the recorded livestreams in their channel. However, the lack of sleep has resulted in Carl mistakenly uploading adult materials instead. It was discovered an hour later by Ben and was removed from the channel, but it was too late. Several sponsors have soon sought compensation as their reputations have been damaged due to the Carl's carelessness.

Are Adam and Ben also liable for the Carl's negligence? Discus with reference to the relevant sections and case law.
