Administrators of social organizations have to make many decisions everyday that are critical to the operation of the organization and the services provided to individuals in need. Social workers generally ascribe to open two way communication and shared decision making as opposed to top$-$down communication.

Based on your assigned readings, course materials reviewed, and personal experience address the following:

$1,$identify and discuss the factors and conditions that inform$/$help you decide when to make individual vs group decisions as an administrator. In other words, when is it appropriate and$/$or indicated to make an individual decision? Answer the same for group decision making.

$2.$ Do you agree with the the author of our course textbook that individual decision making is sometimes the preferred approach? If yes why? If no why not?

$3.$ Are there ever any disadvantages to group decision making? If yes explain.
