ADMN 2017 - Section A \& B INDIVIDUAL ASSIGNMENTS Individual students are required to do three (3) assigned cases covered in this course. These case studies will be made available on the CMS. Failure to hand in any of these cases may result in a grade of zero for this whole component of the grading system. All assignments must be completed to qualify to write the final exam. These submissions can be termed "mini case reports, and must follow these guidelines - Your student number is your primary identifier and must appear on your subrnission. Your name is a secondary identifier. - ONE-PAGE MEMO (single-spacod) and a TWO-PAGE ExECUTIVE summary (doublespaced) of the main problem or issue, your solution, and the proposed implementation of the solution (please note: Examples are on the CMS). - Memos must follow the prescribed fomat and must bo written using sentences. even it written in point form. - Assignments must be typewritten, Times New Roman 12 font, 1-inch margins, full margin justification - Executive summaries must follow the prescribed format and adhere to the basic nules of grammar syntax spelling and both sentence and paragraph structure. - Only one error per page whether typographical, spelling, incorrect grammar, etc Any substandard submission may not be graded or grade of zero given. - Include an appendix of numerical, financial or any other relevant data needed to support the solution (e.g. your SWOT and Key Success Factors). - Use critical thinking skilis and the normative method to analyze case studies providing methodical logical and appropriate (i.e. for the nonprofit sector) solutions and see notes on the CMS for examples and helpful information. - If a page length exceeds three pages (not including Appendix) the grade will be lowered by one grade point for every part of a page or page - All quoted works MUST be cited in APA - see the Writing Lab if you have questions - A grade of zero will be given to any student who violates academic standards of plagiarism Any student who has handed in work, in whole or in part, which they have not written, is liable to be immediately expelled from the course. Any student called into question on these grounds will be required to meet with the professor.
