Advise Mani if there is any legal basis to set aside the contract of sale of his property to Kanda

AUVISt Ald. Kanda has been Mani's solicitor for the past twenty years and acted for Mani in various transactions. Two years ago Kanda offered to buy Mani's five-acre land in Kuala Selangor at the prevailing market value at the time. Kanda made the offer after coming to know from close contacts in the Selangor Government that the land surrounding Mani's land was earmarked for development by the Selangor Government within a period of two years. It was without doubt that the development would significantly increase the value of the surrounding properties. The sale was duly completed and today, following the commencement of the above mentioned development, the value of the property sold by Mani has increased five-fold. Mani feels aggrieved that he has been tricked into selling his property and wishes to set aside the sale. Advise Mani if there is any legal basis to set aside the contract of sale of his property to Kanda
