Africa has been among the fastest growing regions in terms of cybercrimeactivities. The continent is also a source of significant cyberattacks targetingthe rest of the world. However, a number of measures have been taken toaddress cyber$-$threats and improve cybersecurity in the continent. Manycountries in the continent have developed legislation to fight cyber$-$threats.They have also strengthened enforcement measures.
