After attending courses on 31 October, Judi and Jane went to join a Halloween party with their friends in Mong Kok. They took the mini-bus from Festival Walk intending to get off at the Kowloon Tongstation to meet their friends. Judi was wearing a very long Halloween costume. When Judi got off from the mini-bus, the driver shut the door too fast and did not realize that her dress was caught by the bus door. Judi fell off the bus and broke her right arm and front teeth.
