AFTER READING, ANSWER THE QUESTION THAT IS INDICATED IN THE SCENARIO.

Case study No. 1 (Feedback)

In your company, feedback day is annually held for every one of the employees to know their strengths and weaknesses. The analysis of the performance of the employees is so crucial especially if the business is already at its peak of success. The evaluation is based on the pre-determined parameters by the supervisors and the supervisors assess the performance of the employees and gave them feedback. These pre-determined parameters are from various individuals that may include the clients, supervisors, colleagues and other related individuals. This is done to improve one's attitude and perspective towards work.

Ms. Lim believes that the feedback day is not needed because as she has observed, all of the feedback that she received are making her look bad. She deems that all of these feedbacks come from the people who wants her to leave the company. However, according to some clients, Ms. Lim has a temper. She tends to be rude to other clients when her day does not go her way, which brings a bad reputation to the company. As an employee of the company and a colleague, what would you do to help both Ms. Lim and the company?

Case Study No. 2 (Fraudulent)

There was an incident of fraudulent activities that one of your co-workers did. One of your colleague stated as a witness that lead to your other co-worker to go to jail. They were known to be good friends and because of that some of your co-workers started to call him names such as "a rat" for testifying against a person who committed a criminal offense. To start with, the name-calling in the workplace is uncalled for. It not only demoralizes the person who is being called the name, but it also creates a tense atmosphere since workmates are not respectful to one another. Because of this situation, your co-worker being referred to as "a rat" is in a dilemma. Should he have kept quiet even though he saw a fellow employee do fraudulent activities that may result a serious hit in the company, and just because they are employees at the same working place? As a colleague and an employee of the company, what strategies would you adopt to solve the issues?

Case Study No. 3

At 22 years of age, Mr. Malino believed that money would solve all his problems. His ambitions seem to have been overtaken by greed. In his quest to make more money for himself and become even richer, Mr. Malino might engage in fraudulent activities thereby putting the reputation of the company at risks. As the HR Manager, you were the one who interviewed him before he was accepted in the company.

1. What would you do if you knew his desire to do deceitful actions to achieve his goal?

2. In relation to the situation, as an employee in the company, what would you do if you knew Mr. Malino's ambitions towards the company?
