• Q.1 What is the one specific issue that you would implement immediately and why? Explain this in terms of the issue

One specific issue that needs to be focus on is the cultural clashes between the employers and the employees. Both the American and Chinese workers were employed in the factory in Ohio but the working ethics of both American and Chinese were vastly different. The American workers were much more concerned regarding their health and safety in the workplace because of which they formed a union against the upper level management in order to make themselves heard, but the Chinese workers never really understood the point of forming a union. In order to make themselves heard they had to join each other but the Chinese were a little reluctant to that mostly because as seen in this documentary, in China, the workers were like machines, they were constantly working without and questions asked. They followed whatever their leader asks them to do. The working conditions were also not that good. The American works always put their health and safety first and before anything, but the Chinese believes in earning profit no matter what and does not really care too much about the safety conditions of its workers. These differences in beliefs and culture were the biggest issue that needs to be solved.
