After successfully solving a problem for a customer, you should take all of the following steps, if possible, EXCEPT: 8 Notify the customer that the problem has been resolved and what, if anything, should be done next. Thank the customer for his/her patience and apologize for any inconvenience he/she may have experienced. Avoid any explanation of what caused the problem, even if the customer requests an explanation. Make note of the customer's issue and how it was resolved to help deal with any future issues.
