After watching the film Top Secret America while also considering all of our other readings and materials to this point, discuss the following question: With all of the high-tech, public-private state surveillance measures now saturating our everyday lives, can we say that we are actually safer? That is, are all of these techno-surveillance measures actually making US citizens safer? If so, are all of these increasingly technologically invasive measures worth it? If not, then what might be the reason(s) these measures are still being implemented?
