After watching the video (https://drive.google.com/file/d/13ZSovmjJQLfWglSUog2UJJxU8Mjgt_jK/view?usp=sharing), answer the following questions:

  1. What does the meter on the left side of the video measure? What does the meter on the right side measure? Which meter will allow you to take more accurate measurements?
  2. Label a column in the data table below to record the scale reading at the current values in the first column.
  3. Add another column that converts grams to force values, and use a column formula to convert your scale readings. Be sure to include units and a variable name with your column title.
  4. Plot force on the vertical axis and current on the horizontal. Apply a linear curve fit, and record your best-fit function below. Hint: Be sure to use appropriate variables in your best-fit equation.
  5. You will now use your graph to calculate the length, of wire that is within the field of the bar magnet. Briefly explain how you will perform this calculation, and then show your calculation of below. Hint: If your answer is "Take a point on the line and divide...", you should ask your instructor for assistance!
  6. In the space below, show the unit analysis you need to perform in order to get the correct units for. You will find it easier to write it out on a piece of paper and upload a photo. Hint: Look back at Equation 1 (F=IB) to determine the equivalent units of . Don't skip steps!
  7. Return to the video of your trial, and use the ruler tool to measure.
  8. Calculate the %Difference between this value and the length that you calculated.
  9. What are some sources of error in this experiment?
