After reading and reviewing the King case and the accompanying case brief, use the following facts and law to draft the Issue and Reasoning sections of an Office Memorandum.

Facts: Jim and his wife had an altercation and she decided that she was going to leave him. He told her that if he came back from work and she was not home, he would find her and kill her. Jim left for work at 8:00 am and returned at 6:30 that evening. After Jim left for work, Mary went to the grocery store; late, while she was at the mailbox, she say Jean , her neighbor and invited her over for an afternoon drink. After an hour of drink and gossip, Jean went home and Mary began to prepare dinner. When Jim came home, Mary dinner was still warming on the stove. Mary put his dinner on the table and then went upstairs to bed. The next morning, after Jim left for work, Mary went to the police station and filed a complaint for false imprisonment against Jim. Jim was arrested.
