Agent Busu gave Ahmad the task of delivering several rabbits to a man named Daud in Melacca. The rab- bits price is RM2,500. His lorry was submerged in flood when he reached Shah Alam. He subse quently sold the rabbit to the neighbourhood in Shah Alam for a very low price out of fear that the animals would perish, without informing Busu who is the owner of the rabbits. From the transaction in Shah Alam, he received RM 500. In the following seven days, he returned to Kota Bharu and in- formed Busu about the flood in Shah Alam while also giving Busu the money. However, Busu was unsatisfied that the rabbit was sold at that very low price and sought to recover RM2,500 from Ah- mad. Ahmad, however, asserted that he was acting at emergency situation by selling that rabbit at that lower price during the flood.
