Conflicts often arise between supervisors $($principals$)$ and their employees $($agents$).$ One example of such a conflict can arise over the assignment of overtime to the employee. The employee wants sufficient lead time on overtime work while the supervisor assigns the work whenever the situation arises. The employee is disgruntled when working overtime and does not produce quality work. The cost of this is rework on some of the production items.

How could this conflict be reduced? $($Select the best response.$)$

A$.$ A policy on overtime and selection for overtime can be worked out between the supervisor and all employees subject to selection for overtime.

B$.$ The employees should refuse to work overtime unless the manager provides adequate notice.

C$.$ One solution is to equally divide overtime between the employees and assign overtime on a rotational basis.

D$.$ This situation is unlikely to occur since overtime is a perk which most employees relish.
