AHMAD wrote to JANE on 12 November 2020, offering to sell them some wool and requested that JANE reply in course of post. The letter which contained the offer was wrongly addressed and therefore AHMAD did not receive it until 15 November. As a result of this delay, the letter of acceptance was not received until 20 November by JANE, and this was two days later than JANE would have expected to receive it.
