Ahmet identifies as gay and has kept his sexual orientation a secret from his family all of his life
Ahmet is currently outside his country of Turkey which is his only country of nationality. He made the claim at the Canada Port of Entry using a false passport.
Ahmet is unable and unwilling to avail himself of the protection of that country by reasons of fear of persecution. Ahmet did seek protection from authorities in his country of nationality in October 2016 and again in February 2018. No investigation or action was taken to stop the persecution since the authorities themselves were playing a big role in the harassment. In fact, Ahmet was a victim of severe beating by his police academy classmates on December 20th 2018; he was also hospitalized as a result of more beating by members of the police force in February 2019.
In March 2019, Ahmet was forced to leave the police academy where he was studying to become a police officer. He was told by his colleagues that if he did not leave the police academy, he would disappear and no one would find him. Ahmet was forced to use a false passport to leave Turkey in order to avoid altercations with the authorities.
Ahmet is unable to return to his country of nationality due to threats made against him in November 2019 by members of the police force who held Ahmet at gun point. They threatened to kill him if they ever saw him again.
Ahmet's parents are not aware of Ahmet's sexual orientation and they will not accept him if they found out.
Ahmet's only relationship was with a man named Ivan from 2015 - 2017, however, Ivan's parents were against the relationship and Ahmet received call from them in October 2017 threatening to kill him if he did not stay away from Ivan. Ivan's father had relatives in the Police department in Turkey
a very strong conclusion (in which you have to summarize the case and write a very strong and persuasive final arguments why the Member should render a positive decision in your client's case). Your conclusion should be a summary of your position, with the rationale behind it that underlines the reasons why it is impossible for your client to go back to Turkey, and why you do believe that the IRB/RPD Member should reach a positive decision for your client's refugee case.
