Moving past the open arena on display for everyone, Audi sought to learn the faade, blind spots, and unknown aspects of employee life. Audi openly admitted they would rather hire someone who aligns with their values and identity than a more skilled worker lacking those qualities. Audi has found that the employees would then seek to learn these same aspects of their customers. Understanding customer wants/needs, where they vacation, and how they utilize their vehicles will give them better insight into serving them better. It also personalizes the buying experience and makes people feel connected to the company
