Aida attended the wedding ceremony of her best friend, Anita. One of the dishes provided by Anita’s family to the guests during the wedding ceremony is Chicken Biryani. Aida consumed the Chicken Biryani not knowing that the chicken has been infected by bird flu disease. She suffered the worst diarrhea ever. Anita’s family has no knowledge that the chicken they bought was actually infected. They bought it from the Giant Supermarket. However, the Giant Supermarket claimed that they bought it from their chicken supplier namely Good Ayam Sdn Bhd.
Explain the classification of laws and the nature of legal liability involved in this case.

Advise Eisya on the issue of whether or not the above agreements are binding on her.
3.     Mr Kung applied for a credit facility from Bank XYZ Bhd for the financing of his new invention of a household utensil. Due to the uncertainties of Mr Kung’s product and other credit considerations, Bank XYZ Bhd declines to grant the facility, except at a rate of interest that is much higher than the market rate. Mr Kung accepts the facility on these terms. If Mr. Kung defaults in repayment, can he allege that the Bank XYZ Bhd had forced or pressured him to accept the facility at such a high interest rate and therefore the contract is voidable at his option?

6.    Rocky Star Events Sdn. Bhd. is a reputable event management company that has been operating for the last 15 years. They hire Iwan, a 25 years old talented singer in the entertainment industry to perform during the company’s annual event in April 2020 to appreciate their staff. Iwan accepted the invitation and his manager charged RM 20,000.00 for her professional fee and an advance of RM 10,000.00 in deposit. It was agreed, that the balance is to be paid immediately at the end of the company’s event.  Rocky Star Events Sdn. Bhd. paid for the deposit and prepared for the event.  

However, due to the Movement Control Order imposed by the Government of Malaysia which starts on March 2020, Rocky Star Events Sdn. Bhd. has called off the event and requested to return the deposit. Iwan is furious and wants to sue Rocky Star Events Sdn. Bhd. for breach of the agreement and to claim for damages due to loss of income claiming that Iwan has rejected several offers because of the event that was initially agreed.
