Getting to an airport on time is frequently the most challenging and stressful part of many passengers' journeys. There are 5+ multi-airport cities such as London (LON), Los Angeles (QLA), and New York (NYC). To a lesser extent, Berlin (BER), Boston (no aggregate city code available), Chicago (CHI), Detroit (no aggregate city code available), Fort Lauderdale (no aggregate city code available), Glasgow (no aggregate city code available), Manchester (the UK, no aggregate city code available), Milan (MIL), San Francisco (QSF), Stockholm (STO), Washington (WAS), and more that have at least three airports. Typically within 50 miles or an hour of a central point, "downtown" frequently has more developed and better integrated public transportation systems that allow for easier ground access to and between the various airports. Research and discuss the various designs and technologies being used and considered to improve intermodal access to and from and between airports, especially in multi-airport cities such as those mentioned above.
