Algonquin College and the Education industry as a whole have faced an unprecedented challenge caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. With little time to prepare, instruction was forced into an online format across the College. The use of online course delivery is something the College has done on a small scale but it now appears to be the way of the future. With the infrastructure and processes in place for this new delivery mode, the senior management team is beginning to consider expanding further into this market even after the pandemic is over. Before such a decision is made though, an environmental scan of the online post-secondary education sector needs to be completed and they have turned to you to take on this project. Required: Prepare a Five Forces analysis of the post-secondary, online educational sector identifying contributing factors and whether they have a high/moderate/low impact on the College's decision to enter the market. This can be done using point form or tabular formats if you prefer. Once complete, prepare a brief recommendation to the Algonquin College Executive Team.
