Ali and Farid were partners of Gloryfood Ventures and operated a restaurant, Seri Wangi. Each of them contributed RM300,000 as capital. As the main person running the business, Ali made all major purchases for Seri Wangi. Farid only dealt with human resource issues. However, Farid often boasted about his position in Gloryfood Ventures, giving people the impression that he was the 'top man'. One day, Farid ordered new tables and chairs for the restaurant from Trenz Furniture. In Ali's view, the existing furniture was in good condition. Ali refused to pay for the furniture.
Is Gloryfood under an obligation to pay Trenz Furniture for the tables and chairs? Advise.
