Ali, Bella and Caro are musicians. They form a band in order to tour the major towns of New Zealand. Each of the band members provides their own instruments but they share the costs of travel. They each get paid five percent of gross theatre takings.

At one venue, without discussing with the others, Ali hires a video crew to film the performance. When the video crew demand payment, Ali pays a third but says the others must pay the remainder. They refuse and the video crew threatens to sue them.
