QUESTION:

Part 1Tax Computation ( Do not use tax software !) Compute net tax payable or refund due for Alice and Bruce Byrd for 2013. If they have overpaid, they want the amount to be refunded to them. use tax forms for your computations(Forms 1040 and 2106 and Schedules A and B.)

For Form 1040 line 37 is $122,850. Itemized deductions is $35465, exemptions is $15600, taxable income is $71785. Now, I want to know the tax for that that, and then is there any other taxes, payments or refunds.

For Schedule A, the medical expense is $9115, line 29 is 35,465. Please provide figures so I can check my answers. For the gifts to charity, is there any carryover?

Form Schedule B I don't need help.

Lastly, please show how to do form 2106, I have no clue what that is.

The best would be screen shot the form and anwser.
