Alice suggest to Bob that she would hire Bob to work as a software developer if Bob were to relocate 1000 miles closer to the business. They discuss how this would happen, but they do not sign any type of contract or agreement. Alice assures Bob that they can take care of the foralities after Bob moves.

Bob tells Alice that he is moving to the business. Alice receives Bob's message but does not say anything. Bob ends his apartment lease, sells his property he can't take with him, and moves all of his stuff about 1000 miles and gets a new apartment.

Bob contracts Alice for further instructions on how to begin work. Alice says that she did not hire Bob, and that Bob has no job.

There is no traditional offer, acceptance, and consideration. But equity my prohibit a party from denying some contract-like relationship that does not meet all legal requirements of a contract.
