Discussion they answered:1. Who was your favorite CEO discussed in the Morgan textbook, and why?
2. If you were building a leader avatar, what would it look like, and what would be some of the strengths and weaknesses that you would list for yourself? Have fun with this one, if you would like to "build" one and make a graphic and insert it for us to view, that could be quite interesting.
3. Lastly, what I would like is some student feedback. Please pass me two items/areas that you enjoyed from this course and one item/area/subject that you didn't enjoy quite as much, wanted more explanation on, or that wasn't clear. Anything that you provide will be used to improve this course for those that follow you.
Discussion #1: Brock
Who was your favorite CEO discussed in the Morgan textbook, and why? -Paul Polman's concept of ensuring to not think quarterly but in the longterm. Ensuring that we remain focused on the big picture is of the utmost importance as leaders and managers.

From my experience communication tends to be the core of most relationship or managerial challenges. The weakness would more than likely be organization. If I could choose not to be good at something, it would be that. That, in my mind, would be an easy thing to correct.

One improvement would be to provide clearer feedback on the discussion posts and what specifically you are looking for to improve in the future.
Discussion #2 (Ryan)
Good morning everyone,
1. Who was your favorite CEO discussed in the Morgan textbook, and why?
- My favorite CEO would be Judy Marks, CEO of Otis Elevator. "The ability to drive results" and "Setting the Vision and sharing it" really struck my ideal of leadership openly. "Eliminating obstacles so my team can succeed" is another element of leadership she states in the book that finalized why she would be my favorite.

- An avatar I would build that would represent a leader is someone who stands out but not the center of attention, someone who smiles even in hard times and can critically think without feeling overwhelmed, this individual who can lead by example without "telling" others to do especially if that individual who wouldn't do the same thing.
3. Lastly, what I would like is some student feedback. - Items/areas I really found to be more engaging and fun to explore and work on were the discussion posts, these were insightful being able to share amongst my peers and getting honest feedback and also being able to provide as well. The PowerPoint was also great to work on, I gained profound knowledge and ideas that I hadn't used before. That alone really made me explore outside the box as the assignment overall can be used by me today. Clarity on discussion post or assignments as far as what needs to be presented and how we should go about the assignment in more details.
