Report back on how that felt for you - was it difficult/easy? Did you feel you got something new out of the conversation compared to your typical conversation? A vision statement is a key element of how a leader communicates and engages their stakeholders. Can you think of a time when a leader communicated a powerful vision for a group? What did that action achieve? What would things have been like without the powerful vision? (The leader could have been in your organization at the time, even significant levels above you or they could have been a peer - its the vision and the spread of the vision that's important.)
