Of this, $1.5 million is over 120 days old, $1.0 million is 91 to 120 days old, and $1.5 million is 61 to 90 days old. This company was a new start-up in 2022, so HUMI does not have a reliable credit history for it. HUMI has put a hold on new shipments to AALLC until it receives payment of the balance.
The credit manager has heard rumors that the company might declare Chapter 11 bankruptcy. There has been no official filings of bankruptcy though, as these are just rumors.
Separately, in December 2023, the Senior VP of Sales spoke to the wealthy owner of Abysmal Avalanche named Joey Sacki and his attorney from the law firm Dewey, Cheatum & Howe, who personally assured him that the Company intended to pay its outstanding balance in the coming weeks.
In January 2024, the Senior VP of Sales obtained a casually crafted hand-written personal promise to pay the amounts owed from AALLC by Mr. Sacki. The personal financial statements of the owner show he has a net worth in excess of $80 million.
