An air of volume 125 cm3 at 35C and 1 bar is PV1.3 = C to compressed by the law 8.5 bar. Then 2000 J of heat is added to the air at constant pressure. Further, hot air is expanded by the law PV1.3 = C to a pressure of 2 bar. Finally, heat is rejected at constant volume until the initial condition has reached. Determine the value of T, P and V at the end of each process. Calculate the net amount of work transfer and net heat transfer for the whole process. Represent the entire process on the P-V diagram.
