An assembly operation in a manufacturing plant requires a one-month training period for a new employee to reach maximum efficiency. A new method of training was suggested and a test was conducted to compare the new method with the standard procedure. Two groups of 36 new employees were trained, one group using the new method and the other using the standard procedure. The length of time in minutes required for each employee to assemble a device was recorded. After the hypothesis testing to see whether the mean time to assemble is less for the new training procedure at a = 0.05, we obtained part of output from the excel.
