An effective administrator establishes healthy, productive working relations with others involved in school governance in order to maintain a harmonious schoo climate (Coley, 2006). As a superintendent, I felt the board was micromanaging my decisions I would address the board respectfully regarding my concerns. Although feel frustrated by the micromanaging addressing the issue in a respectful manner is important because my tenure or time in office depends on satisfying and meeting th expectations of the board (Harvey, Cambron-Mccabe, Cunningham, & Koff, 2013) would present the board with specific times in which micromanaging took place
