An example of an FMEA was discussed in the video in Part 7. There we talked about the car not running due to a flat tire. Two FMEAs for the present state and the improved state were discussed. In the present state we saw that the RPN came to a high number and hence we had to conduct an improvement FMEA to bring the RPN down. Using that as an example, come up with five other things that can go wrong in a car, not allowing it to run. For each item, estimate the RPN. Of the five that you have identified, conduct an improvement FMEA for the 2 items with the highest RPN, and re-estimate the new RPN. Clearly specify what actions you will be taking and who will take them (Actions A, B, C, D, E & F) shown in the example.
