A new vehicle costing R242 000 was purchsed on 01 December 2010 from Daphne Truckers. An amount of R48 400 was paid on cash and a loan was taken from ASSA Bank for the balance. The business paid R800 for a licence and R18 000 for installation of hydraulic pump that was fitted in the vehicle. The vehicle was ready for use the next day. The business further paid cash, an amount of R4 800 for service done to the truck on 01 June 2011. 2. The business bought a new machinery on 01 September 2010 from Anderdorf Machinery for R120 000 and paid R12 000 cash deposit. They further purchased crane for that machine and paid R18 000 cash. On the 1st of October, the machine was ready for use, however, the company further incured installation cost of R20 000 and that was also settled on cash. This type of machinery requires regular maintenance that will cost the company R2 500 per month.
